SCIO trial: results |

In
group 1, the clinical cure at endpoint was achieved in 36 patients
(78,26 %). In group 2 the clinical cure at endpoint was achieved
in 43 patients (82,69 %). The clinical cure was in all cases
accompanied by negative KOH microscopy.
This chart illustrates clinical cure rates of
terbinafine (blue) and itraconazole (pink) in relation to baseline
SCIO in compared groups.
In this trial the correlation between baseline SCIO and cure
rate was significant with p < 0,01.
